Installing Plugins
The first thing that you need to do is go get the plugins so that we can install them. So go to this link and download the current set of plugins. apo-plugins.bin.71021.zip
Now that you have the most recent plugins packaage lets get to installing them. Follow these steps in the order given and when you are done your plugins will be ready to be used.
1. First we need to find where you have your apophysis directory. This is not as easy as it sounds since many people don't use the installation program that came with apophysis 2.02 the oldest version. I agree that the newer version of apophysis needs an installation program too in order to keep everything consistant but we cannot do anything about that. That would be up to the programmers.
The usual location of the apophysis directory is under the program files folder as shown above. If your Apophysis directory is not located here take a moment and find where you have installed Apophysis.
2. Now that you have found your Apophysis directory right click within the folder and choose new->folder and name it PLUGINS.
3. Unzip the plugins file you downloaded at the beggining of this instruction set.
4. Move all the files you just unzipped into the PLUGINS folder you just created.
One last thing that I have noticed thru experience with other apophysis users is that some people have never placed the new versions of apophysis within their apophysis folder. Most of the users have placed the newer version of Apophysis on their desktop. So take a moment and make sure you have placed all your current apophysis programs into the apophysis folder as shown above. If you still want quick access to them you can right click your mouse on each version apophysis you have and choose "send to"->Desktop(create shortcut). Now you have a quick access on your desktop for each version.
